1920s Edwardian/Art Deco Vintage Engagement Ring, .60 Carat Transitional Cut Diamond, 14k White Gold Antique Engagement Ring, Bezel Setting
This gorgeous piece of history hails from the 1920s. Adorned with more details than a girl could know to ask for, the style of the stunner seems to be mostly Edwardian, with feminine filigree and floral patterns, though the square cutout bezel setting lends a touch of Art Deco.
The ring is centered with a sparkly as all get out .60 Carat Transitional Cut stone, of a remarkable G color (very white!). Transitional stones are prized among many diamond connoisseurs because when done well their sparkle can match that of a modern brilliant, but they retain the chunky facets and therefore the character of the older antique stones. This particular specimen is a beautiful site to behold.
Due to the double bezel illusion setting, this ring has a large impact on the hand and is a perfect ring for a woman who wants something substantial, yet still classic. Its style is a titilating marriage between uniqueness and classicism.
